YWCA to Honor Outstanding Women

Each year, the YWCA is proud to honor women who have made a difference in lives of people in the community, and this year is no different. Six outstanding women will be honored at the 28th annual YWCA Salute to Women on Thursday night at the Crowne Plaza.
This year’s winners are Brenda Beckett, Elizabeth Fulton, Anne Gauer, Dayle Hayes, Sharon Peterson and Dr. Kathleen Ryan.
Salute to Women honorees have excelled through their volunteer service and professional activities with courage, creativity, competency, originality and perseverance.
This is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the YWCA. Tomorrow night’s event begins at 5:30. For reservations or more information call 252-6203.
