Yesterday was Truly a Monday!

2013 is not shaping up to be a very good year for me and yesterday was the Monday of all Mondays!
It all began at 5:30a.m. when I woke up with a bloody nose. I didn’t last so I went back to bed only to wake up and hour later with my nose running like a faucet! That one lasted for 45 min! Another minor one occurred around 8.a.m. Here’s the funny thing…I’ve never had a bloody nose in my life and yet that’s three in a matter of two and a half hours!! I managed to make it to work without an incident but then 2:00p.m. rolled around and it happened again! This one was a gusher and I made my way to the walk in clinic downtown driving with a paper towel over my face only to find that the parking lot was totally full. I figured if I did find something that the wait would be insane so I decided to go to the clinic in the heights. Upon my arrival I was told that there was no one there who could help me and I would have to go to the Emergency Room downtown! Are you kidding me!? Mind you, I still have a paper towel over my face to keep the blood at bay but it wasn’t enough to get me back to my car and I had to return inside leaving behind quite the blood trail! To say the least, I hope they sanitized the ladies bathroom at the heights clinic really well because by the time I got things under control it looked like someone had been murdered! I eventually made it back downtown to the E.R. where I was for over an hour while they cauterized my nose! Whee! So glad every Monday is not like that!
