What I Did On My Vacation
I took five days off last week. First of all, we did not go anywhere exotic. Actually, Keri had to work all except one day and Bobby and Devin were in school. So it was all about me!
On Keri’s one day off, we hit Pryor Creek Golf Course for a round of 18 holes. Besides our foursome, there was only one twosome on the course all day. It was on a Monday and it is nearing the end of the season. True golfers just gasped!!

Crayons for kids deliveries are finished
Thanks again for donating 1,360 boxes for KBear’s 2nd Crayons For Kids. I made the final deliveries to Broadwater Elementary, Ahead of the Curve and to the Laurel School District. The reaction in Laurel was like “deer in headlights”. They were like, “uh, thanks, I think”. I say enjoy!
Look at these kids’ faces…

Devin (0ur 14 year old) gets his cast off.
About 4 weeks ago Devin snapped his wrist while skateboarding. That was his first major injury while in 5 years of skating. So on came the cast and last week off it came. What a vacation memory! Glad I could be the one to listen to the cast- saw whinning motor.

Make a wish first golf tourney was fun!
Golf fore Wishes for Make A Wish Montana was held out at The Briarwood on Friday. Great turnout, nice weather and thanks for helping out. I didn’t swing the clubs, just ran the microphone stuff.

Hanging with the Mayor’s wife, Robin.
Robin Hanel, with the support of Mayor Tom Hanel ran in her first half marathon. It happened to be the Montana Marathon from Molt, MT to Dayliss Stadium on Sunday the 18th. It took her about 2 hours and 30 minutes. What a great accomplishment!

Even though Keri had to work and travel to Kalispell to ref for the Billings Roller Derby Dames during my time off, we still made time to just hang and do nothing…aww..I know!
Our oldest son Bobby snapped this pic of us:

So all in all it was a fun, productive and relaxing vacation!
