Weather: Snow and cold dominate the forecast.
Pacific moisture will move over the very cold air in place across Eastern Montana and Northern Wyoming today, bringing periods of light to moderate snowfall to the region through tonight. Temperatures will generally hold steady or drop through the rest of the day. Low tonight will be very cold, dropping to the single digits above and below zero. Factor in a wind chill, and it will feel like -15 to -25 degrees below zero in the morning.
Snow will taper off Christmas morning. Despite breaks of sunshine tomorrow, highs won’t warm past the mid-teens. Temperatures may be coldest through Tuesday evening, then some areas will start to warm as early as Wednesday morning.
Another system will move into the area Wednesday into Thursday with another chance for accumulating snowfall. Temperatures will remain below normal through the week.
