Wanted! Homes For Gnomes! In Helena, MT
Police in Helena are trying to find the rightful owners of several garden gnomes discovered at a high school.
A school resource officer at Capital High School in Helena said that 22 gnomes of the garden variety were discovered in various locations, including on the school’s roof, at the end of May.
Eight of the statues have so far been returned to their rightful owners. The school resource officer said he is hoping to find the owners of the remaining 14 gnomes before the items have to be turned over to the Helena Police Department as evidence.
He is also looking for information on who stole the gnomes from their homes and glued them to parts of the Capital High building. There are no suspects at this time and the Travelocity Gnome is not amongst them. Hmmmm, has anybody seen Livin’ Large Larry lately?
