It is that time of year when we are seeing a lot of lists. Best of this….best of that…well our friends at Time Magazine have come up with the Top 100 Songs of all time!
Now your favorite Led Zeppelin song or Elvis may not be on this list and you may want to argue these selections with your friends. So here ya go. Let the arguments begin. The list was compiled using some unique criteria: no artist was allowed to appear more than once; the list is restricted to English-language pop songs; the songs are in no particular ranking order; and “all time” begins in 1923, the year Time was founded.
