Times Square “Fan Confetti” to Honor Dick Clark on New Year’s Eve

A big tribute is in the works for Dick Clark to be a part of New Year’s Eve. Times Square is gearing up to honor the legendary entertainment icon this New Year’s Eve, and you could be a part of it!
Messages from fans of Dick Clark will be part of the confetti that’s showered over Times Square on New Year’s Eve. People can share their memories of Clark on square-inch pieces of confetti at the Times Square Visitors Center & Museum in New York. The messages will be displayed at the center’s Confetti Wishing Wall until New Year’s Eve. Tributes can also be submitted online.
The Times Square Alliance says Clark “was instrumental in making New Year’s Eve at the Crossroads of the World what it is today.” The longtime host of “American Bandstand” and the New Year’s Eve ball-drop ceremony died on April 18 at the age of 82.
