Well, no major surprise here either. Just hours after NBC picked up a number of series and officially discarded both '1600 Penn' and 'Whitney,' the peacock has added to the cancellations 'Up All Night' and 'Guys With Kids.' 'Up All Night' especially had been through a heap of trouble with showrunner changes, revamps and Christina Applegate's departure, but will that be all of NBC's major shakeups today?
For weeks now the 'Up All Night's debacle has been kicking into high gear, as prior to shooting even one episode of the struggling NBC series' three-camera retool, series star Christina Applegate abandoned ship. Most recently, we'd heard that fellow stars Maya Rudolph and Will Arnett were eying their own departures, Rudolph disclosing a fourth pregnancy and Arnett being courted for a new multi-camera CBS pilot, and now the latter has been made official. Will Arnett will lead Greg Garcia's untitled new comedy, but is NBC still holding on to 'Up All Night?'
Stevie Nicks brought her magical, mystical powers to NBC‘s ‘Up All Night’ last evening (March 29), appearing as a much-sought after guest on the fictional talk show where lead characters Reagan (Christina Applegate) and Ava (Maya Rudolph) work on the popular sitcom.
The Welsh Witch herself, the one and only Miss Stevie Nicks, will soon be making a guest appearance on the NBC sitcom ‘Up All Night.’ Nicks will play herself in an upcoming episode of the series, which stars Christina Applegate and Maya Rudolph.
