Queen Extravaganza Tribute Band Chosen by Roger Taylor

Queen‘s Roger Taylor has chosen the six young musicians pictured here in Brady Bunch fashion to serve as the band and singers for the 2012 Queen Extravaganza tour. (Guess that makes him “Michael,” huh?) After a nearly five-month long search for four musicians and two singers to form the ultimate tribute band, the drummer made his decisions on Monday in Los Angeles.

The Beatles’ ‘Revolution’ to be covered by Flaming Lips as Tribute to Steve Jobs

Apple Inc. and the Beatles have been intertwined since the computer giant’s earliest days, so it’s only fitting that the band’s music should be used to pay tribute to recently deceased company founder Steve Jobs.

The Flaming Lips have announced plans to debut their cover of the classic Beatles track ‘Revolution’ at the O Music Awards 2 on Oct. 31 — and record their performance on an iPad.

Cyndi Lauper Flubs National Anthem Lyrics During 9/11 Tribute [VIDEO]

Turns out Christina Aguilera isn’t the only one who has trouble remembering the lyrics to ‘The Star Spangled Banner.’

During a 9/11 tribute at the US Open on Sunday, 58-year-old pop icon Cyndi Lauper suffered a similar fate, flubbing the line that’s supposed go “O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming” by instead singing “O’er the ramparts we watched, as our flag was still streaming.”

Michael Jackson Tribute Concert Set for October 8

A tribute concert in honor of Michael Jackson will be held October 8. Jackson’s mother, Katherine, and siblings La Toya, Tito, Jackie and Marlon were all on hand to make the announcement Monday in Beverly Hills.

The show is scheduled for the 40th anniversary of Jackson’s first solo single, ‘Got to Be There.’
