FX Officially Announces Spinoff Network FXX

Earlier in the year, we heard rumors that FX might look to spinoff its comedy properties into a separate network titled "FXX," to debut in September of this year. Now, as news pours out of the cable network's Upfront presentation, we've learned that FXX will indeed break off from FX and debut in 74 million homes this September, but will it be a comedy-central channel, or appeal to a broader demographic?

You might want to start sending your prayers to Shiva now, because FX isn't getting out of 'The League' any time soon. In advance of the fantasy football comedy's fourth season finale tonight, the two-episode "A Krampus Carol" and "The Curse of Shiva," FX has opted to continue 'The League' through a fifth season. 'Justified's Timothy Olyphant Making A Play For 'The League'

While we might know him best as hard-nosed charming Marshal Raylan Givens, of FX's 'Justified,' it's easy to forget that actor Timothy Olyphant has quite the comedic talent as well. Olyphant appeared on 'The Office' several season ago (in an arc that went precisely nowhere), but for his next sitcom gig ,he won't have to travel very far. The 'Justified' star will next popl up in an upcoming episode of 'The League's fourth season, but what is it that rubs him the wrong way with the guys?
