It is approximately 250 feet in length, and like the original Memorial is erected in a chevron-shape. This Sunday will be a big day for Billings. Not only is Rimrock Auto Arena having a concert for the first time since last summer's tornado, but that concert is by one of the true Superstars of music. This is a man whose music has inspired and entertained us for 5 decades. Elton is as famous as it gets. Rolling Stone Magazine published a great bio of Elton.

Rimrock Auto Arena is like an old friend. I've been going to events at MetraPark since 1975, when it was simply known as The Metra. I've been lucky to see some of the top entertainers in the world right here in Billings. Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Cher, AC/DC, Van Halen, Aerosmith, ZZ Top, and even Barry Manilow have entertained me immensely. Yesterday I got my first look at the newly refurbished arena and I gotta tell you, the old girl cleans up good! I think Billings will be pleasantly surprised with the changes.
