Williams, who compared a golf match between President Obama and Republican House Speaker John Boehner to “Hitler playing golf with Netanyahu,” attempted to clarify his remarks through a post on his website.

President Barack Obama announced Sunday night that bin Laden had been killed and his body taken into U.S. custody in Pakistan.

Word of the death of Al Qaeda's leader quickly spread, and politicians, celebrities and athletes began releasing statements while crowds gathered across the country in celebration of bin Laden's death.

Barack Obama Won't Throw Out First Pitch at Washington Nationals Opener [VIDEOS]

Last year, Barack Obama threw out the first pitch at the Washington Nationals home opener, continuing a tradition of Presidents throwing out first pitches that stretches back to William Howard Taft in 1910.

This year, however, Obama is taking a pass on getting the season started with a ceremonial first pitch. Instead, recently unemployed talk show host Larry King will do the honor before the Nationals' Thursday-afternoon match-up with the Atlanta Braves.

Some of President Obama's critics have suggested he doesn't want to take to the mound because his past attempts at first pitches have been, well, not good.
