Anyone wake up New Year’s morning and think “Where is the magic”? As a kid I always expected to wake up on the first day of a new year and feel different. But I never did. Now as an adult, I still have that anticipation on New Year’s Eve (or NYE for those that are saving characters when they tweet or post to Facebook) and again I wake up the first day of a new year and nothing
So we are reaching critical mass around my house right now. With end of the Holidays in sight, we also have the bottom of the treat jar in sight. And the dilemma is: Should we make a final batch of Holiday treats or start the New Year’s resolution of healthy eating early? It really is a tough decision, especially since we don’t have any children within 900 miles of us, and we don’t have to set a good example… What would you do? I am asking for your help on this one
The hangover has subsided, and the noise makers and funny hats have been thrown away, so now New Year’s revelers are just left with the resolutions they made when the clock struck midnight. Unfortunately, most of us may even throw those out as well.
