The two spacecraft will crash into a mountain near the moon's north pole at approximately 3:28 Mountain time today after nearly a year in orbit.

I have been waiting since last Friday night as to where that old satellite landed. NASA could not find it over the weekend or the last couple of days, but the landing location has been pinpointed.
September 24, 2011 You, may have been following this story for the last week. The six ton satellite that ran out of juice and was headed for earth. Well, late Friday night, it made its way to earth. It did not crash in Billings or the surrounding areas. Darn, I was hoping for a new tourist attraction!
When the Space Shuttle program first started, every launch was a huge deal. Networds interrupted programming to carry the launch and we were all in awe at this amazing reusable space vehicle. Now we are down to only two Space Shuttle missions left
