Just like you, we’re taking Monday off…wait let me clarify.
Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer is just days away! I’m looking forward to being outside and enjoying the weather. Unfortunately the weather doesn’t always cooperate! Lucky for us here in Billings it looks like it’s going to be quite nice but if you are traveling to western Montana there is a really good chance that you will run into some snow! I talked with Q2’s Bob McGuire to get the scoop!
Another Memorial Day is upon us…it signals the unofficial start of summer and with that comes the summer travel season.
Sure this weekend is Memorial Day. A three day weekend. For many it’s the unofficial start of summer, and it means BBQing becomes the norm.
I do sincerely hope you had a great Memorial Day Weekend. This weekend was a set aside for thanking our soldiers who have come and gone and those who are still fighting for our country.
This weekend, yes is 3 days off. Fun, food, friends and family! But lets not lose sight that it is Memorial Day weekend. The time we set aside and say thanks to the soldiers who have come and gone fighting for our country and the troops that continue fighting even on Memorial Day Monday coming up. So thank you! Check out the handful of Memorial day services going happening on Monday.
The service men and women of our country make huge sacrifices to fight battles on our behalf and keep the freedoms we hold dear. One of those sacrifices is being away from their families and loved ones for long periods of time. The only thing that makes this sacrifice bearable for most is the incredible sweetness of coming home, even if it is only for a short leave.

Since we can’t spend the entire Memorial Day weekend barbecuing, many Americans observe the day by hopping over to the local cinema to take in a blockbuster movie and some free air conditioning.
