Sunday marked the moment when Fauja Singh from east London received a Guinness Book of World Records title for being the oldest man alive to complete a full-distance marathon.
At 100 years old, Singh finished the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in a time of eight hours, 22 minutes and 16 seconds.
Amber Miller finished the Chicago Marathon three hours off her pace on Sunday, clocking in at six hours and 25 minutes.
But there’s a good explanation for why.
