June 25, 2012 As I said on the K-Bear Morning Show, I am humbled by the Montana Broadcasters Award that I received in Whitefish on June 23. For those who didn't hear, I was announced as the Montana On-Air Radio Broadcaster of the year! I thank my morning show crew, Jon Arneson, Ed McIntosh and newscaster Peter Christian for having a hand in this great award! As a matter of fact Ed McIntosh and Peter Christian walked away with their own awards too!

Well somebody turned me into the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) again for the annual Lock-Up. I gladly will go to jail for the MDA. Today, May 17 I will be raising money for the MDA.

April 9, 2012 There was a potpourri of things to do this past Easter weekend. On Friday night, I thought I was going to have to use the snow shovel for only the 3rd time this year!

March 15, 2012 Oh me loves a parade!!! That's about all of the Irish you will get out of me. Join K-Bear for two entries in the St. Patty's Day Parade this Saturday in downtown Billings. I will be in the K-Bear van with Jon Arneson in the passenger seat, and Major Dan Miller will take a break from his Saturday morning show to join us in the parade too.
March 13, 2012 In 29 years on the radio all over the country, I have never been late for a show until this morning! I could blame me not being on the air until 6:45 on technical difficulties or the time change, but I won't. The alarm clock was set for the normal time, 4:12 a.m., but I slumbered till 6:41. When I finally arrived to the studio, about 15 or 20 minutes later the show was going on without me thanks to "Mr. Automation"!
