In other words, for every Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood, there’s at least one Taylor Hicks.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest victim of such fickle behavior is season nine winner Lee DeWyze, who’s been dropped by his label, RCA. DeWyze’s debut, ‘Live It Up,’ has sold only 168,000 copies since its release almost a year ago, a few months after he won the Fox competition.
