Despite 4 Chan's successful attempt at getting Kim Jong-un to win the most votes for Time magazine's Person of the Year, the magazine is going with President Obama. Again. Sheesh, don't pick the dictator everybody voted for, but that doesn't mean you have to pick somebody who's already won. Here are five other perfectly viable candidates, in our opinion. Maybe we should start a campaign next year.
We know lots of people are ecstatic ‘Jersey Shore’ will be coming to a close. That means one less reality show clogging up the airwaves. After this upcoming sixth season, America will say goodbye to their favorite guidos and guidettes.
Many haters of ‘Jersey Shore,’ ‘Teen Mom 2,’ ’16 and Pregnant’ and ‘Real World’ have always somewhat jokingly said these shows are harming society. Turns out they might be right, at least when young ladies are concerned. A study released on Wednesday by The Parents Television Council (PTC) shows that females in these shows engage in 88 percent of the sexual dialogue and insult each other more than the men.

MTV’s hit reality show, which depicts the exploits of a group of raisin-tanned 20-somethings as they live and party along the New Jersey coastline, has just had $420,000 of its 2009 production costs covered by the state’s Economic Development Authority.
Stars are paid by designers all the time to endorse and wear certain clothes. But this may be the first time we’ve heard of someone being paid not to a brand’s apparel. Seems retailer Abercrombie & Fitch is no fan of ‘Jersey Shore,’ and even less a fan of Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino — so much so that they’ve offered him cold hard cash to stop wearing their clothes on camera.
