The 1st Hope Fest for the Montana Rescue Mission is happening on September 8 in downtown Billings. Join K-Bear from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for family fun and learn about the Montana Rescue Mission. As recently as four years ago, funk legend Sly Stone was living in a home in Napa Valley, CA that was large enough to be described as a compound.

Those days are gone now, as Stone — whose group Sly and the Family Stone was one of the most successful acts of the late 60s and early 70s — has lost his home and his fortune due to poor financial management and crippling bouts of substance abuse.
