June 29, 2012 About a month ago I was honored to broadcast with the Stockton family at their store in Lockwood. Then I was asked to broadcast again at their Customer Appreciation Day on June 29 at Shiloh Express. It is pretty cool when I have met this family one time and I drive up in the station van and they all greet as if I was one of their regular customers! It just feels good!
Just a few months ago, analysts were worried gas prices would soar this summer, possibly topping $6 a gallon. But now that the warmer months are upon us, there’s been an abrupt about-face.
In fact, fuel prices are now falling so steadily that many experts predict that by this fall, a gallon of gas will be under $3.
April 30, 2012 Finally, some positive news at the pumps! Gas prices are dropping! According to Triple A, prices nationwide are down 4 cents this week to $3.81 a gallon. That’s 11 cents cheaper than a month ago!
April 20, 2012 It was a fast, weird and fun week on the morning show this week. The big hype this week was the 97 cents a gallon for gas at Town and Country Supply on April 19. A day to go down in history in Billings, Montana.
April 20, 2012 Paying 97 cents a gallon for gas has not happened since the mid to late '90s! That kind of puts the price of gas in perspective. It is just too high at $3.79 a gallon in the Billings area. That was the overwhelming reason as to why people showed up to the event on April 19 at K-Bear's "97 Minutes of Gas" for 97 cents a gallon at Town and Country Supply on Hilltop.

April 17, 2012 The buzz around town for the last week and half has been the talk of K-Bear's 97 cents for a gallon of gas! 97 cents for 97 minutes, 9.7 gallons on April 19 from 1 p.m. at 2:37 p.m.!
April 13, 2012 97.1 K-Bear has secured the rights to sell gasoline at 97 cents per gallon for 97 minutes with a 9.7 gallon limit per person! All this excitement will take place with a noon live broadcast on K-Bear on April 19.

A lot of people are hurting these days because of the slow turn of the global economy. Few places are making them feel the pain of painfully slow growth more than the gas pump.
But that doesn’t mean relief can’t unexpectedly happen.
