March 1, 2012 So I'm driving around doing errands last Saturday afternoon when it was about 45 degrees outside. Within one hour of running around town, I headed down 24th and Central and see two guys holding cardboard signs. By now the wind was blowing snow and rain sideways, but the two guys remained at the corner. The signs didn't say, "need money," or "anything helps." They said, "All I want is a smile".
