New Documentary Features Bruce Springsteen Discussing ‘Wrecking Ball’

Back in February, Bruce Springsteen met with the European press in Paris to talk about his new album, ‘Wrecking Ball,’ which had yet to be released. Director Thom Zimny, who has worked with Springsteen on his videos and concert DVDs, has taken highlights from that press conference and made a 22-minute documentary, ”Wrecking Ball:’ A Conversation with Bruce Springsteen,’ complete with several songs from the album and other video footage. The film premiered yesterday on CNN’s website.

Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and Beatles’ Widows Attend Premiere of New George Harrison Documentary

Ex-Beatles Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr attended the U.K. premiere of the documentary ‘George Harrison: Living in the Material World’ in London on October 2, as did the widows of their late band mates Harrison (Olivia Harrison) and John Lennon (Yoko Ono).

Their presence sent a loud and clear message about their love and respect for the so-called quiet member of the Fab Four. Other music notables on hand included Beatles producer George Martin and Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.

George Harrison Documentary Coming to HBO in October

George Harrison always seemed to be overshadowed by his two prolific band mates John Lennon and Paul McCartney, but his contribution to the Beatles was huge.  I've always loved George for his distinctive guitar sound and his fantastic songwriting.  John Lennon once said that Something was one of the best Beatles songs ever, and the best song on Abbey Road.
