3 weeks ago After months of trial, Jodi Arias was found guilty this afternoon of first- degree murder with five of the Arizona jurors leaning towards pre-meditated murder. Jodi Arias was convicted of killing her boyfriend, Travis Alexander back in 2008. The trial has been going on since January 2.
James Holmes, the suspect in the Aurora, Colo. shooting during the midnight screening of ‘The Dark Knight Rises,’ which left 12 dead and 58 other injured, appeared in court Monday.

February 9, 2012 The final chapter of my jury duty experience from earlier this week is "things I overheard in the jury room". During two days of jury duty, we received 6 breaks in the jury room and lunch breaks outside of the courthouse. At the times we were sequestered in the jury room random conversations were going on and I kept my ear on all of them and picked up on some weird stuff!

Maybe that rooftop barbeque wasn’t such a good idea. According to TMZ, troubled actress Lindsay Lohan is headed back to court Thursday after she tested positive last week for alcohol, a violation of her parole.
The report says that the 24-year-old ‘Mean Girls’ star failed one of two alcohol tests, one of which was administered right after her infamous rooftop party. Lohan did not test positive for drugs, however.
