Strong west winds will continue in the mountain foothills west of Billings today, with some of that wind pushing across the plains. Gusts from 50 to 60 mph will be common from Livingston and Nye, with some of the strongest winds around Big Timber

A couple of weak pacific disturbances will bring isolated snow showers across the region today and tonight, but the big concern in the short term is wind. Monday's temperatures will be typical for early January, with highs in the 30s
An upper level disturbance will move across central and Eastern Montana Friday. This will bring gusty winds to areas from Billings to the west, but no precipitation. Highs today will be in the 30s to lower 40s
High pressure will move into the region and cause a gradual warm up into Friday. Winds will be gusty over the western half of Montana and Wyoming, making it feel colder. A cold front will move through the area Friday night
Today, snow showers will continue in Eastern Montana, from around Miles City to the east, with light snow accumulations expected. A gusty northwest wind will cause areas of blowing snow, potentially making travel difficult
A weak system will work across the region today and produce a slight chance of snow showers east of Billings. Otherwise, the sky will be partly to mostly sunny with highs today mainly in the 20s. Lows in our area will be in the single digits and low teens
