St Patricks’s Parade Without K-Bear
Who doesn’t like a parade? They are a part of our heritage. Almost as American as apple pie. This year K-Bear will not be having any of that apple pie in the St Patrick’s Day Parade. The faithful ’99 Chevy Astro Van, better known as the K-Bear van has some serious engine issues. Let’s just say we would get the dreaded DNS (did not start) at a NASCAR event.
So if you are heading downtown tomorrow to catch the parade that starts at 11 and runs from 3rd to 32nd and returns on 2nd Avenue, don’t look too hard for the K-Bear van. It will be safely parked in a mechanics garage, getting an overhaul for the 4th of July Parade.
