Snow & Soup…Winning!
I discovered another treasure in the Magic City today. Running around doing the regular Saturday stuff in the snow and those all too familiar hunger pains crept up on me. We were downtown taking care of a few things and passed by Soup & Such on 3rd Avenue. What better thing to warm up with than a warm bowl of soup. So in we went. This is not a review or an endorsement for Soup & Such, but if you are in the mood for homemade soup or a salad bar that includes 3 types of lettuce, 2 different pasta salads and more vegetables then I can remember, try this place out. And did I mention it is an ‘All You Can Eat’ establishment. Although there were seven types of soup and we managed to try only three of them before filling up. The tomato basil is so good.
And I have to thank Mike the owner for treating us like we were long lost friends. The atmosphere he and his wife have created at Soup & Such really speaks volumes to the overall feeling we’ve got since arriving – Friendly, helpful and sincere.
Oh and save room for a cupcake, because Mike and his wife Antonia also own the cupcake place on the corner…but that’s another blog.
