Really? Over An Inch of Bread?
The whole argument over the Footlong Subway sandwich not being actually 12 inches has reached ludicrous proportions. People are now bringing lawsuits against the company. At first Subway said it is a trademarked name, not a claim of length of the sandwich. However yesterday Subway announced: ”We have redoubled our efforts to ensure consistency and correct length in every sandwich we serve,” adding: “Our commitment remains steadfast to ensure that every Subway footlong sandwich is 12 inches at each location worldwide”. I could not get a comment from my local Subway store. But on the plus side, I have discovered why my carpentry skills have always come up short! I have been using a Subway Footlong sandwich as my measuring tool for years – DOH! But I have a solution to solve all of this, let Oprah interview a Subway foot long sandwich. I bet she will be able to bring out the truth. Oh and by the way, does the Black Forest ham really come from the Black Forest in England
