Powerball is Going to Cost You More
January 3, 2012 3:37 PM One of my New Year’s Resolutions was to try and win millions by playing Powerball. You know the old saying, “You don’t win if you don’t play!” Beginning January 15, the price of Powerball tickets goes up from $1.00 to $2.00.
Lottery officials say:
Other changes will also take effect then. The minimum jackpot will get higher and fewer balls will be used in the multi-state drawings, which will increase the odds of winning a bit.
