Playapalooza Is Coming This Weekend
I had the pleasure this morning of having Lisa Olmstead on the K-Bear Morning show with me today. It’s Playa-palooza time.She is from the Western Heritage Center where Playapalooza will take place this Saturday. The Center hosts this event every year as a fundraiser to support their outreach program into the schools. The day is a throwback to vintage games like tiddlywinks, marbles, hopscotch, jacks and other games we used to play growing up. Things get started Saturday morning around 10 and run until 3.
While it is free to walk around, to play the games will cost you a 50 cent ticket, but again it does go to a good cause and who doesn’t want to get that blast from the past when life was much simpler… have you tried to hook up an X-Box lately?
