Paul McCartney In Detroit And Visits Motown [VIDEO]
Paul McCartney performed at Comerica Park in Detroit last weekend! While he was there he visited the legendary Motown studios!
Paul was given the exclusive backstage tour and was able to visit the studio in the basement of Hitsville. Paul was even able to get up close and personal with the instrumentsand equipment used to record many of the great Motown hits. Paul told some Beatle stories to the staff (Gee I sure hope they had a recorder in the room) and how much the Beatles loved Motown. The Beatles actually recorded 3 Motown hits. Including BARRETT STRONG’s “Money,” “Please Mr. Postman” by the MARVELETTES and “You Really Got A Hold On Me” by THE MIRACLES. Oh yeah! On the way out Paul stocked up on Motown Gift Shop Souvenirs.
