Pain at the Pump!
Here we go again! Spring is approaching and gas prices are on the rise!
Across the state drivers are paying about six cents more a gallon this week than they were last week and twenty five cents more since January first. But according to AAA, Montana and Wyoming’s averages still sit far below the national average of $3.56 a gallon.
Experts said the spike in gas prices is due to several domestic and international factors including unrest in the Middle East and decreased crude oil production for refineries nationwide.
Montana usually trails behind the national trend, so we can expect to see an increase in gas prices soon. In fact, by the end of April we could see prices as high as $4.25 a gallon!
That puts a little damper on my summer vacation plans! How about you?
