New Flight Could Take Travelers From Billings to Helena [POLL]

Traveling by air is getting a little easier in Montana, and a new flight could be in the works between Billings and Helena.
Florida-based Silver Airways Corp. Vice President Mickey Bowman tells the Independent Record that the company is still examining the idea of flights from Billings to Helena, but expects a decision in the next week.
Helena Airport Director Ron Mercer says his staff made a proposal to Silver Airways and expects it to be presented to the airline’s top management soon.
The airline is also talking about a potential flight from Billings to Missoula as well as Billings to Williston, N.D.
Silver Airways recently changed it’s name from Gulfstream International Airways which provides federally subsidized flights to a number of Eastern Montana communities.
