“Nebraska” Filmed In Billings This Week [AUDIO]

I think it’s pretty cool when a major motion picture is being filmed in my neighborhood like the comedy, Nebraska with Bruce Dern and Will Forte. This week has been a busy time for the Montana Film Office. The crew came in from Helena last weekend and began filming the Billings part of the film downtown, the Heights, on the Rimrocks and at undisclosed private residence.
It was a pleasure to talk with the media contact from the Montana Film Office, Deny Staggs on the Billings Morning News. Deny gives us the rundown on what the Montana Film Office’s role is in “Nebraska” and their stay in Billings

The road picture is the story of a father and estranged son on a journey from Montana to claim winnings from a sweepstakes ticket in Lincoln.
This the 29th day of filming which started in Lincoln, Nebraska at the end of October.
Billings T.V. station, KTVQ has a bit part in the movie!
