More From The Dahl Fire Near Roundup [AUDIO]

After hearing of the grass fire on the afternoon of June 26 and then hearing it is over 10,000 acres later that night, my first thought was for the residents of that area. Now it has become a true wild fire! Then you turn the T.V. news on and see horses running out onto the highway to escape the flames and black, billowing smoke that covered highway 87!It was a sick feeling and a sad sight. The stories from evacuees have been heard all day and will continue until the Dahl Fire is under control. Now over 18,000 acres of devastation. People losing their personal belongings and homes destroyed.
The weather yesterday was the perfect recipe for a wild fire, nearly 50 MPH winds and 100 degrees outside. I talked with Sandy Fitch-Church on the K-Bear Morning show and she let us in on her experience in Roundup with regards to the Rimrock Humane Society.
