Montana Town Up For Auction
For a cool $1.4 million you could own your own town right here in Big Sky Country!
The entire town of Pray, Montana is going up for auction next month. The small town located about 30 miles from Yellowstone National Park was founded in 1909 and is named after a Montana congressman. Barbara Walker owns all five acres of the town and collects rent from 10 other people that live there.
Walker lost her husband to cancer in 2006 and she says trying to revive the town alone is just too much work. So she is selling the town, including her house, at auction on June 27. For $1.4 million you get a small trailer park, a general store and a post office.
