Letter Carrier Food Drive Is This Saturday
This Saturday, May, 14th is the 19th annual Letter Carrier Food Drive with the United States Postal Service. All you have to do
is leave your non-perishables in a bag or box next to your mailbox and the USPS will take it from there.

The annual drive happens nationwide in 10-thousand cities.
“I think it’s a really helpful thing, especially to our community,” said Tammy Schreiner, letter carrier for the US Postal Service. “You see a lot of the homeless people around. So not only just making sure we get the mail delivered. It makes us proud as a union and as letter carriers to be able to help out.”
The National Association of Letter Carriers hope to collect more than 73.4 million pounds, nationwide.
