Lace Em’ Up For The Montana Women’s Run
Mother’s Day is this weekend and that means it’s time to lace up those sneakers for the annual Montana Women’s Run.
More than 9,000 people are expected to take part in this year’s event which is Saturday, May 12. The 5 mile begins at 8:00am and the 2 mile will start at 9 on 2nd Avenue North between North 25th Street and North 24th Street. Most of the participants are walkers who come to enjoy the companionship and festive atmosphere of the occasion, but the event draws joggers and competitive runners as well.
You must pre-register and pick up t-shirt and packet at the Montana Women’s Run Headquarters at 219 N. 29th St. by 6 pm, Friday May 11.
