John Parr’s “Tim Tebow’s Fire” Pushes Tebowmania Out Of Control

You have got to be kidding!  Tebow-mania has gotten out of control and now British musician John Parr is jumping on the Tebow bandwagon with a new song.  Parr has re-recorded his 1985 hit song “St. Elmo’s Fire (Man in Motion),” to be “Tim Tebow’s Fire.”

Parr, who lives in Denver and is a big Tebow fan, touched on his inspiration for the song with FOX31 Denver.

“I was inspired by Tim Tebow so I wanted to modify the lyrics…in his honor of the way that he lives his life as being a great example.”

“St. Elmo’s Fire,” which Parr wrote and recorded for the blockbuster movie of the same title, reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States in September 1985 and received a Grammy nomination.

Parr originally performed the Tebow version of the song on ESPN in October 2011 and later released a full studio version.
