Glacier Named Favorite National Park For Camping

Summer is almost here, and it’s time to explore the great outdoors by hiking, fishing and camping! You don’t have to go far to find the top spot for favorite national park to camp in because it’s right here in Montana!
About.com Camping Readers nominated their favorites in camping for their 2012 Reader’s Choice Award. The voting pool was narrowed down to the top five finalists and Glacier National Park came out on top! Yellowstone came in second and Yosemite in third.
Glacier encompasses over 1,000,000 acres and includes parts of two mountain ranges, over 130 named lakes, more than 1,000 different species of plants and hundreds of species of animals.
Montana also comes in second for favorite state to camp in behind Missouri.
