Do you see dead people? Would you like to try? Come to the Parmly Billings Library this Wednesday as author Karen Stevens takes you for a tour around the Treasure State that have been reported to have hauntings. She’ll tell you about her experience at these places that you can visit, too..if you dare! Stop by the third floor at 7:00p.m. for tales of things that go bump in the night.
For more than thirty years, retired librarian Karen Stevens has collected ghost stories from all over Montana. Stevens is the author of three books, “Haunted Montana”, “More Haunted Montana” and “Glacier Ghosts, Legends and Mysteries”. Stevens presents a “virtual tour” of sites that are of historic interest, have recent ghostly activity, and are open to the public. Sites include well-known bars, hotels, restaurants, theaters, battlefields, and prisons. Stevens also shares humorous as well as frightening moments from her paranormal investigations. At the conclusion of the program, Stevens invites members of the audience to share their own ghostly encounters.
