Gas Prices are Dropping Nationally But Not in Montana!

Gas prices are cheaper but still not cheap! In fact they are the highest they have ever been for this time of year!
Over the last week prices have dropped 13 cents a gallon to a national average of $3.62 but that’s still 17 cents higher than a year ago which was the previous record for this date! Here in Montana, prices are still quite high averaging $3.74 a gallon. We have only seen a 5 cent drop over the past month! A year ago we were paying an average of $3.58 a gallon!
California still tops the nation with the highest prices at $4.35 a gallon while Missouri has the lowest at $3.29. Falling oil prices, rising supplies of gasoline and a switch by refiners to cheaper winter blends of gas have contributed to lower pump prices.
Are you feeling the pinch at the pump too?
KBEAR understands, were hooking two of our listeners up every month with $50.00 gas cards.
