DESCRIPTION:This is the 39th year of gathering on the lawn under our big Montana sky for an evening of live music performed by the Billings Symphony Orchestra with special guest Austin Martin and the Billings Community Band.  The fun all kicks off with food sponsors serving up delicious picnic fare at 4 pm.    Kids look forward to trying out different instruments at the Instrument Petting Zoo and a  Youth Conducting Contest when a handful of hopefuls will be chosen to compete at winning the chance to actually conduct the orchestra during the concert.
