Debt Paid
One of the great debates in our family centered around, believe it or not – Fiestaware. These are colorful dishes that have become popular over the years. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, we were at my oldest sister’s house and she brought out a peacock colored blue plate. I remarked to my wife how much I liked that color. She said I should since we own it as well. I said no, she said yes. And a bet was made. My wife spent much of last week setting up the new place…intent on proving me wrong about the inventory of Fiestaware. Turns out she was right, we did own the peacock blue color. So I paid the debt to the bet this weekend with what else – more Fiestaware dishes…we now own a full set of Marigold plates and a new red spoon holder. I have to learn to keep my mouth shut.
