Coolest Crooner On The Planet Tony Bennett Birthday Salute! [VIDEO]
Ok…so when I was growing up my parents had all his albums and played them day in and day out on the old Magnavox. But as time goes I have found myself really diggin’ Tony Bennett and today is his birthday!
Tony Bennett is Uber-cool now and he still has has voice at 85 years old. Bennett began his day on The Today Show and tonight on Late Night With Jimmy Kimmel. Tony is promoting his new albums Duets II which will be released in September and that new cd contains one of the last recordings from Amy Winehouse. Upon her death Tony Bennett released a statement that read in part, “She was an extraordinary musician with a rare intuition as a vocalist… I as honored to have the opportunity to sing with her.”
