Circle Inn is Now History!
Another Long standing Billings business is gone. Yesterday construction crews demolished the Circle Inn on Main Street in the Billings Heights to make way for a new AutoZone store!
The Circle Inn closed closed April 29, 2010. In it’s heyday, The Circle Inn was just about the only place to get a good steak with a mixed drink, and even lunch was a moneymaker.
In the mid-1930s Stanley Steffanich Sr. built The First and Last Chance Saloon along Bench Boulevard. In 1950, that bar became The Circle at 1029 Main St. The business gradually branched out into The Stadium Club, a liquor store and a golf course.
