Christmas Traditions
Like any family, we have our Christmas traditions, although now that my wife and I are away from our kids for the Holiday, it looks like it is time to start some new ones. Although with the unpacking of the new place, I don’t think either one of us thought about doing anything new, so it looks like the old traditions will be in place for tonight and tomorrow. We’ll head to an early Christmas Eve service, have Chinese food afterwards and then head home to watch “It’s A Wonderful Life” and “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation”. We’ll get up tomorrow morning (albeit a little later than we our kids were earlier), exchange gifts, cook breakfast, and then head off to our tradition of a Christmas movie. After reading what I just wrote – I think it is time for some new traditions around our house.
