Chicken Wing Shortage Looming Before the Big Game!

There may be a crisis looming for football fans! With less than 2 weeks to go before the big game, fans may find it harder to find their favorite football snack! That’s because there is a chicken wing shortage!
The National Chicken Council says that the demand for wings is at an all-time high due to decreased wing production caused by the high cost of corn and feed. 1.23 billion wings are expected to be eaten during the weekend of the biggest game of the year, a drop of about one percent from last year. The National Chicken Council says if you were to lay all those wings end to end they would stretch from Candlestick Park in San Francisco to M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore 27 times! That’s a lot of wings! Wings are definitely the centerpiece of all my football games so I will be stocking up early! What’s your favorite football food?
