For the last 19 years, Duncan Brannan has been the nasal voice behind Chuck. E Cheese’s singing animatronic mouse mascot. (Yes, a restaurant chain has a rodent for a mascot, think about that for a moment.)
But all good things come to an end, and Brannan was saddened to learn that he was being replaced by a presumably younger and hipper voice actor as part of a “wholesale makeover” of Mr. Cheese.
This week’s episode of ‘Gene Simmons Family Jewels’ — airing July 2 and titled ‘Baby On Board?’ — starts out in therapy, with Dr. Wexler coming to the obvious and apparent conclusion that Gene does not want to adopt a child, a fact he has not shared with his eager-to-adopt-wife Shannon.
During Charlie Sheen‘s meltdown after his exit from ‘Two and a Half Men‘ last year — something he now realizes was pretty ugly — he said some rather unpleasant things about his former boss, Chuck Lorre. But now Sheen seems to have some regrets about that, too.
While it’s likely that Queen’s Freddie Mercury wasn’t drawing inspiration from salty snacks when he wrote ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’ back in 1979, the song from the band’s 1980 release ‘The Game’ has recently been tapped by Lays potato chips for their latest television spot.

Last night we witnessed not only a couple of contestants immediately being thrown out of the competition but seeing some others blowing their big chance to make it big. Yes, we’re in the midst of “Vegas Week” here in ‘America’s Got Talent‘ and the intensity, for some, is just too much to bear.
After weeks of auditions, we’re finally with the judges in Las Vegas for the next round of ‘America’s Got Talent.’ We’ve seen the worst and now have the supposed best on stage. But will those chosen to move forward be able to deliver their superb talent to the judges a second time? We’ll just have to watch and see.
Monday night will see a meeting of two of the key pieces of two of the biggest bands of all time. Sir Paul McCartney will drop by the U.K. television series hosted by Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood.
June 21, 2012 When a pedestrian gets hit and killed by an out of control vehicle it seems to really get a lot more attention then the average accident. The incident from the morning of June 20 at Montana Avenue and Division is very tragic.
