Finally, some positive news at the pumps! Gas prices are dropping! According to Triple A, prices nationwide are down 4 cents this week to $3.81 a gallon. That’s 11 cents cheaper than a month ago!

Anthony, "The Smile Guy" stopped up to the K-Bear Morning Show this morning to remind us that him and Forrest will be out with their smile signs in downtown Billings on Wednesday. 97.1 K-Bear has secured the rights to sell gasoline at 97 cents per gallon for 97 minutes with a 9.7 gallon limit per person! All this excitement will take place with a noon live broadcast on K-Bear on April 19.

UPDATE: I had the opportunity to stop by Pepsi to talk with some of the employees, including one of the owners, Mike Dimitch. Mike and the plant manager Ernie gave me a tour of the devastation from Wednesday night. As mentioned in an earlier update some of Pepsi's vintage cars were damaged in the fire including this classic Pepsi delivery truck!

I was out driving around Saturday night, heading home at about 8:45 down Broadwater. It was a strange site to see about 7 huge dump type trucks in the center turning lane of the street. Lights flashing, trucks creeping along, picking up snow from Broadwater and the nearby side streets. I assume the same process happened on Central, Grand and probably other busy streets in the city.
